Guedol Engenharia was founded in 1960 and started business in the Private Construction and Public Works sectors, specialising in infrastructure, water, sewage, street and paving works.
After 40 years of experience and success in the market, a strategic decision was made to grow and diversify the business, and in the year 2000 Guedol started property development. This has since become the company’s main area of business.
In 2002 Guedol began to provide professional construction-related services and consultancy and acquired a majority stake in Consulmace.
Guedol started to work abroad in 2005. It has a share in various real estate developments in Spain and has carried out market studies and evaluations in Dubai, Macau and Angola with a view to offering its professional construction-related services there.
On a number of occasions Guedol´s economic and financial performance and its management profile have led to it receiving awards for Construction Excellence.
